Abby is a AEA actor and classically trained singer based in NYC.
Abby values the stories that remind us that not only dragons can be beaten, but that witches can be right, and giants can be good. After the final curtain call, these stories lead us from the theatre with more courage and kindness to ultimately make the world a better place.
Most recently, Abby portrayed Charlotte in a reimagined production of A Little Night Music directed by Hunter Foster starring Kate Baldwin. Other credits include Jenny (Company), Mrs. Phagan/Sally Slaton (Parade, dir. Hunter Foster), Maggie (Lend Me a Tenor), and Meg March (Little Women the Musical).
Abby spent 5 months in DC as Mary Catlett in the tour of Amazing Grace the Musical. Also in the DC area, she appeared as Ariel in The Little Mermaid, for which was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical.
Other recent credits include Show Boat (Magnolia), Oklahoma! (Laurey u/s), and My Fair Lady (Eliza u/ s). Her work as a featured soloist includes various solo cabarets, Mozart’s Coronation Mass with Choralis, Mendelssohn’s Magnificat, Handel’s Messiah, and Mozart’s Missa brevis in G Major K.140. Abby is a graduate of both the Eastman School of Music and Interlochen Arts Academy.
